About My Trip

I am involved in a study abroad program through Arcadia University. For the duration of my stay in London, I plan on taking about 16 credits worth of classes that are applicable to both my English and Communications majors.

While in London, I will also be living in an apartment with four or five other people, cooking all my own meals, and visiting all the classic sites in addition to exploring some more local places.

Not only do I get to live and learn in London, but I also get to work there! My study abroad program is unique because I can also hold an internship at a company within the city. I will be working three days out of the week and taking classes for the remaining two. On the weekends, I am free to explore and get to know the other people in my program.

Community Engagement

  • Immerse myself in London's culture, even if it removes me from my comfort zone

  • Interact with local people

  • Educate myself on issues and current events applicable to my new location
